New Sermon Series: "The Proving Ground of Faith" (1 Peter)

I Peter 400x400.jpg

On February 21st, Pastor Marshall will begin a new sermon series on Sunday mornings exploring the book of 1 Peter. The series will be called, “The Proving Ground of Faith” and will last about 17 weeks. From this short and poignant letter written by the Apostle Peter to the scattered believers in the early church, we will discover how the Lord encourages those who follow him to strive in the midst of intense persecution, distress, and difficulty so that our precious faith may be found “to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 1:7).

Preparing for the Auditorium Lighting Project!

We are very excited that God has blessed our church with the ability to fix our auditorium lighting situation! We will be moving from a halogen bulb system to LED fixtures. The funds for this project were approved during our budget meeting at the end of 2019. As the lockdowns occurred in March, our leadership agreed that this was the perfect time to move forward with purchasing and installing the lights. The lights arrived last week, and work will begin Monday. Take a look at some photos from the work done this afternoon to clear the seating out of the auditorium so work can begin Monday!
